Garda World now seeks applications from suitably qualified and experienced CPP Drivers.
Aegis offers a competitive daily rate (Contractor will only be paid whilst on-duty – no payment made for Off-duty)—subject to local tax (if applicable)
8 weeks on, 4 weeks off, subject to operational requirements
Contractors are not entitled to pay while traveling. The first day of pay is the day of arrival in the country of operations. The last day of pay is the day of departure from the country of operations.
The Company shall be responsible and liable for the multi-entry visa cost as required in order to deliver the Services. Any visa costs incurred by the Contractor shall be reimbursed.
Garda World will provide the Independent Contractor with appropriate accommodation, insurance, flights, and life support while on duty.
Food, Accommodation, and General Expenses:
The company will provide the Contractor with food, drink, transportation, and accommodation as necessary whilst the Contractor is engaged in a project.
If the Company is unable to provide the Contractor with food, accommodation, and transportation, except as set forth below for inbound and outbound travel to the project location, the Company shall either provide a per diem at an agreed rate or reimburse to the Contractor for any traveling, hotel, and other expenses reasonably incurred by him in the proper performance of his duties under this Agreement. In the case of the latter, the Contractor must provide the Company with such vouchers and receipts or other evidence of actual payment of such expenses as the Company may reasonably require. The Contractor shall seek the prior approval by the Company for any individual expenses incurred under this Agreement.
Garda World will provide an economy class return ticket per rotation to the project location from a hub airport as close as reasonably practicable to the Contractor’s declared home address.
The Contractor will be asked to declare their preferences for a primary, secondary, and tertiary hub airport from the Garda World hub list at the commencement of their engagement. Where possible and commercially acceptable, Garda World will look to book travel to and from one of the preferred hubs.
The Contractor will be responsible for any travel arrangements between the hub airport and their home address. The Company will pay for any transfers from the airport near the project location or such other intermediate landing location to the Consultant’s accommodations at the project.

Security Clearance – must hold or be eligible to obtain and be in the process of obtaining Security Clearance or an Australian national Security clearance and at the min level of Secret (NV1)
All CPP personnel to have previous military or law enforcement experience of not less than five (5) years with an excellent record of conduct. Must not have a criminal record and must not have been dishonorably discharged from service or convicted under the Defense Force Disciplinary Act (1982) (or equivalent) or terminated from their employment
All CPP or other qualifications obtained in policing or military roles, and/or relevant CPP or other qualifications or accreditation obtained through a recognized private sector registered training organization
To hold one of the following qualifications (in-date as a minimum): HLTAID005 Provide First Aid In Remote Situations, Qualsafe’s FREC 3, MIRA or PHTLS-TFR
All CPP personnel must have served as a member of a personal security detail or a close personal protection team for at least one (1) year in a high-threat environment
Sound knowledge and relevant skill set regarding the planning and conduct of CPP operations in a high-risk environment
Experience with Electronic Countermeasures Equipment
Driver's license to operate an armored vehicle
Excellent communication skills, with experience in multiple levels of communication.
Services provided by the Contractor shall be those typically expected for someone in the Position and include, but not be limited to the provision of security services to ensure the safety and security of all client staff and other personnel who come under a duty of care of Australian Embassy, Kabul. Services the Contractor can expect to carry out would include:
Operating as a driver of a B6 armored vehicle as part of a mobile protection team.
Operating as a vehicle commander as part of a mobile protection team.
Acting as a PPO to Diplomatic clients as part of a mobile protection team.
Being able to work alone and as part of a team with both ex-pats and host country nationals.
Undertaking any other direction or reasonable request given by appropriate Garda World Management team in accordance with GW Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines.
