Join us in helping our clients conduct safe and undisturbed business and achieve their challenging goals. We are looking for medical trainers (combat medic instructors) based in the States to provide a bespoke medical training course for US soldiers.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
As a combat medic instructor on our team, your key role is to help provide medical training events composed of academic instruction, simulation, and lanes training for aero and ground medical evaluations. You will conduct validation training for flight paramedics and ground combat medics in order to maintain military occupational skills' qualification including collective pre-deployment training with ordinary military equipment to respond to realistic combat medical scenarios provided by the contracted services. As a member of the training team, you would be expected to:
Participate in the planning, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of training curriculum;
Prepare and deliver onsite instruction at government facilities/military installations;
Supervise the activities of course attendees during instructional time;
Evaluate learner performance, provide feedback, and develop learner remediation plans;
Perform hands-on training of up to 30 soldiers utilizing training aides to simulate patient and medical movement for medical teams;
Provide realistic day/Night Vision Google (NVG) training scenarios utilizing actors, special effects, pyrotechnics, and moulage makeup (special effects makeup);
Observe all safety precautions and comply with applicable federal, state, and municipal safety and health requirements;
Other duties as assigned.
The knowledge of EMS theory, practice, and trends;
The knowledge of current EMS curriculum and education standards;
The knowledge of adult learning theory and methodologies;
Demonstrated teaching and educational facilitation skills;
Ability to adapt EMS syllabus to reflect military requirements, local needs, and national trends;
Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation;
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills;
Active National Registered Paramedics/Medics Certification;
High school diploma or GED and successful completion of an EMS academy-approved EMS instructor course and teaching internship, or equivalent;
At least 3 years of EMS experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
BA or BS degree;
Medical Doctor or Physician Assistant Certification;
Previous military combat medic background/experience;
Knowledge of U.S. Government/Defense clients;
Management consulting experience a plus.
