The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) AG is a joint venture company established with the purpose of planning, developing, building, and operating the TAP natural gas pipeline. TAP’s shareholding is composed of BP (20%), SNAM (20%), SOCAR (20%), Fluxys (19%), Enagás (16%), and Axpo (5%).
Construction of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline is being been completed, commissioning is ongoing, and we will soon transport gas for the Southern Gas Corridor. We are looking for our Corporate Security Analyst to be based in Athens, Greece.
Your role as Corporate Security Analyst (CSA), directly supports the Corporate Security Manager (CSM) with main security activities regarding the management, administration, and analysis of Corporate and Operations security for TAP and additional stands-in, as the Designation of Authority (DOA) for the CSM in their absence.
You will be based in Athens, and your role will be required to travel regularly to TAP Headquarters in Switzerland, as well as in Italy and Albania whenever required.
In this role you will have the following responsibilities:
Provide technical security risk management coordination and analysis, advice, guidance, and related information to management and staff. Continually assess the security situation as it applies to TAP’s activities and make recommendations in line with the current intelligence concerning incidents, local events, personalities, groups, competitors, and situations which may have an impact on TAP
Support QHSE management, Asset Managers and the Country Managers with crisis and emergency management, as required, and co-ordinate exercise, and drill on crisis and emergency management plans, including on both evacuation and medical emergency scenarios
Co-ordinate with the business travel system to ensure the security of TAP’s staff while they are traveling on business. Specifically, monitor international business travel security risks and alert and update staff as necessary
Co-ordinate personnel in countries for appropriate Security Induction Training sessions
Support actions with consultants and other functions regarding the implementation of recommendations on security and Human Rights
Ensure with the Security Team, ITC Security, and contractors regarding the inspection of the installation of security technology (Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection, Alarms, Security Lighting, security barriers, SCADA nexus, etc.) that is fitted into Above Ground Facilities, in order to ensure the appropriate quality of the installation and maintenance of such by the contractor
Co-ordinate between TAP security and Shareholder functions of continual monitoring of public/ Open Source internet activity and timely reporting to the Security Team of related risks
Review, analysis, and production of the Weekly/Monthly Security Project Report; facilitate the production of security procedures with Document Control, authors, checkers, approvers, and Quality
At least 5-8 years of experience in asset and personnel protection of large corporate activities. Experience as a senior security professional in a ‘client’ organization within Oil and Gas industry/large linear infrastructure/construction projects or heavy industry
Background in military, police, law enforcement or intelligence services
Experience of working in complex environments with multiple stakeholders, local stakeholders, regulators, public officials, communities, government agencies, etc. Preference for Southern Europe expertise.
Experience with the management of business relationships with private security providers, state security forces, and communities.
University degree in a relevant (social science) subject
Proficient in IT/data applications including MS Office suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English language. Proficiency in any other language (Italian, Albanian) would be an advantage.
