Enteles Search has partnered with this multi-national manufacturer, in order to identify their new Country Security Manager for Russia, to be based in Moscow.
Our client is committed to developing business in Russia and the CIS region, a complex and challenging security environment, that necessitates a comprehensive and threat led approach to security risk management. The role of the Country Security Manager plays a key role in establishing this approach and will oversee all aspects of security for the company throughout Russia, supporting sales, construction, and service and expansion growth into the CIS region.
Whilst there are no direct reports as such, this role will work alongside business partners in advising, developing, implementing, and monitoring security throughout Russia, as well as developing, monitoring, and managing positions such as project security managers and other security consultancy posts when required. Candidates will possess a detailed and current understanding of the Russian security environment and be able to demonstrate experience of operating at an international level in a security management role. You must be able to speak, read and write fluent Russian and English.
To design and embed security policy and procedures.
To conduct and maintain accurate threat assessments of the project and service areas, ensuring that business leaders are kept current with the threats posed against the company.
Design and implement appropriate mitigation to reduce exposure to identified threats to as low as reasonably practicable.
Develop and maintain an understanding of both existing and aspirational business opportunities in Russia and the CIS region.
Oversee the delivery of security support products to the company footprint across the country, including threat assessments, site security plans, staff training, and security contracts.
Design and deliver appropriate ‘security awareness’ training sessions for all staff
Monitor and support all business travel into and throughout Russia and the CIS region.
Maintain an active security network with other multi-national companies, private security companies, police, and relevant government authorities.
Oversee the establishment and management of all contractual agreements with private security companies and complete quality assurance and quality control measures for all of these contracts.
Support crisis response management as appropriate.
Identify the need for, recruit, and then support additional security capacity as required by threat and materiality.
Initiative the company process and approvals for any deployment of live armed personnel in support of operations and ensure that such personnel is employed within the parameters of company protocol.
Support sales and operations with non-technical risk identification and mitigation development.
Close cooperation with compliance, support compliance initiatives, and implementation.
Ensure the application of security measures, operations, processes, and procedures across Russia and the CIS is compliant with the business values, standards, policies, and procedures.
Gain and maintain an accurate understanding of the threat picture in Russia and the CIS region and how such threats could impact future aspirations and operations.
Ensure that the overall security approach adopted within the various projects is appropriate to reduce exposure to security threats to as low as reasonably practicable.
Establish and maintain positive relations, at a senior level, within the company, and with various project partners.
Identify the need for and assist in the recruitment of additional security capacity.
Working with customers and project stakeholders to plan and implement appropriate security plans.
