Islamic Relief France is looking for an H/F Expatriate Security Coordinator for a position in Bamako.
Take part in long-term projects for an innovative mission in place since 2013 in Mali.
Programs: Food security and livelihoods, child well-being through improved social inclusion and self-esteem, Water, hygiene, and sanitation.
By joining a growing mission whose strength has doubled in 3 years, your main missions will be:
Under the hierarchy responsibility of the Head of Mission (CDM), you will be in charge of the safety of the teams, equipment, and buildings of the SIF in Mali. You will be responsible for two national security references.
Your main missions will be divided into the following terms:
Security and coordination strategy
Ensuring the safety of teams, equipment, and buildings
Contribute to the development of the MALI mission's security strategy.
Update all SIF Security Kit documents.
Write and ensure the implementation of a contingency plan depending on the context and the actors.
Advise and provide recommendations to the HOM on all geopolitical and security aspects in Mali.
Set up a security event communication scheme and ensure its supervision.
Provide coaching, coaching, and evaluation of the national security reference.
Manager and evaluate the goalkeepers of Bamako as well as the performance of the team members.
Define and update the team's training plans.
Ensure and analyze the compilation of INSO incidents.
Write a monthly security report to send to the HOM and headquarters.
To ensure the drafting and follow-up of the action plan.
In collaboration with the HOM and the Headquarters Safety Referent, lead crisis management in the event of an incident at SIF teams, equipment, and buildings.
Depending on the context, quickly propose ad hoc rules to the HOM.
Get in touch directly with the teams to provide them with support and advice in the event of incidents in the IFS areas of action, regardless of the time or day of the week.
You have a bachelor's degree in safety and risk management.
You worked for 3 years as a field security reference within an NGO with a managerial aspect to a local employee.
With the good analytical ability, you are rigorous and organized.
You know how to adapt quickly to the constraints of the activity and be reactive.
Experience in the support of a national collaborator and knowledge of security issues in Mali are desired.
CDD 6 months Full time.
Contract start date: ASAP.
Position based in Bamako.
Compensation by profile.
Break/R and R at 3 and 9 months of 1 week with the maintenance of remuneration, ticket A/R (Country of mission-country of residence) supported by the SIF after 6 months of the mission.
Medical insurance (supported 60% by the SIF) repatriation (supported 100% by the SIF).
