The Site Security Manager will be responsible for all aspects of site security and mobile security operations provided by the customer/Owner and the project security vendor/s. Including all SOPs, ERPs, training records, and certificates along with compliance with the local laws and regulations of the MoI-PSCD.
One position is required, and it will be based at Besmaya power plant in Baghdad province, working hours are in accordance with the Iraqi labor law with the potential for extended working hours as per the job requirements.
Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
Ensure recruitment, training, and supervision of security officers and guards is in line with internationally recognized qualifications of ASIS and/or SIA.
Attend meetings with other projects/site managers to determine operational needs.
Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events.
Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms.
Compile reports on incidents and breaches.
Investigate and resolve incidents.
Create reports for project management and GE Security Risk & Crisis Management leadership on security status.
Analyze data to form proposals for improvements.
Detailed knowledge and understanding of the operational and tactical requirements for mobile security operations and static guarding operations in a high-risk environment.
Journey management in a high-risk environment.
Possess tact, sound judgment, and ability to communicate clearly, verbally, and in writing.
Extensive experience in physical and personnel security.
Exceptional leadership skills demonstrated by a record of managing teams dynamically and motivating individuals to deliver on objectives towards company goals.
Previous operational experience in a complex operating environment.
Competent and confident in the use of Microsoft Office products.
Experienced in delivering training and providing guidance through all levels of an organization.
Good command in both English and Arabic (Iraqi Dialect).
